A Superfood Market has just debuted up at Bikini Berlin. A collaboration of the German pop-up mall and retailer Funk You Natural Food, it brings time-starved yet health-conscious shoppers a wide selection of smoothies, salads, bars, breakfast bowls, raw sugar-free cakes, and other energizing foods. It’s about to serve all of that with a side of entertainment, too.
On January 28, the market will present the Ultra Super Food Days and Europe’s first Juice Barista Contest, where participants will be challenged to concoct a detox juice, a superfood smoothie and their signature drink in a bid to win the top mixologist title and a host of prizes. They’ll be judged on flavor, swanky attitude and theatrical show, and smoothie explanation (e.g. name origin and health benefits).
The Superfood Market features both local suppliers and international brands such as Lov Organic Teas, BoneBrox, and Yoursuperfoods.
