Sally Leeds was one of the five lucky moms to be singled out for their shopping wisdom when Lake Elsinore Outlet Center ran a Mother’s Day contest.
The California center invited customers to write a brief essay, detailing their mother’s best savings advice, be it a shopping tip or where to find the best brand name retailers. April 20 to 30, participants could drop off their entries at Customer Service, in the hopes of earning a prize pack comprising of a $95 Anne Klein watch, courtesy of Arbi Jewelers; a $10 gift card from Koret and a rose.
Leeds and the other winning moms were also invited to Fantastic Sam’s in Wildomar on March 3 for a complimentary hair style before heading over to Lake Elsinore Outlet Center for a photo shoot by Cherished Memories Photography.
The winners’ photographs were then posted on the center’s new 80-foot tall LED sign on the east side of the I-15 freeway over the Mother’s Day weekend, along with their name and savings tip.
As for those who submitted the winning entries, they each received a $25 center gift card.
